Single Cruises

Are you a single lady who loves to dance? Many cruise lines offer a "gentleman host" program, usually on cruises longer than 14 days. They are actually selected on the basis of their dancing ability, and they love to trip the light fantastic. Or perhaps you are a solo man who wants to party. You won't have a problem finding ladies since they generally outnumber single male cruisers by about three to one!

As a single cruiser you may be put off by price. Few cruise lines offer single cabins due to them wanting a full ships compliment. However, there are a few that due if you look hard enough, such as Cunard. As a solo cruiser, even though you may have the money to book a balcony cabin, we'd suggest you go for a deck cabin for the extra camaraderie and the joys of coming into a port with others who are as enthusiastic as you are!

Are you interested in finding enduring friendships? Many cruise lines have solo get-togethers and even if they don't, you can use your areas of interest to meet people with the same hobbies.
